Even less than it looks...
Review of Lenovo ThinkVision L192 by  tartupets

Advantages: Bang for buck, specs and features
Disadvantages: active matrix

...Lenovo ThinkVision L192 has been in my use for a year now and I cant say anything else to it: It is amazing... Sleek design of black and anodized aluminum combined with state of the art technology results in a mouthwatering candy for casual users and gamers. Well, I have tested this monitor with different applications and I can rest assured that this monitor lives up to its stats. Compared to a 17" widescreen that has the same stats, the 19" seems much more natural to the eyes and does not stress them... Plus the 5 ms refresh rate ensures smooth and flawless motion. 300 candela per square meter might be somewhat stressful to the eyes but during daytime, it ensures good quality... 800:1 contrast gives more natural and pleasant color and looks, to me, even more appealing. Somewhat not good is the active matrix feature. After I... Read review

Review of Lenovo 3000 N100 0768 - Core Duo T2400 1.83 GHz - 15.4" TFT by  Honest.John

Advantages: Built in webcam. fingerprint recognition that works, good customer support.
Disadvantages: Slightly sluggish compared to some higher end machines.

...I own a Lenovo 3000 N100 and use it daily for personal use. I also use a Dell Latitude D620 for work, but I will try not to compare them too much to each other in this review. I acquired the Lenovo after my previous Laptop (a Medion) died and couldn't be resurrected by the Insurance company - so I didn't actually go out and buy this one specifically. In actual fact, it is much better than my Medion, although this may be due to the passage of time and better technology. Technical Bits: The laptop has a Core Duo processor (I think mine is 1.7Ghz not 1.83 as listed in the header). It has 512MB RAM, a DVD writer, fingerprint recognition and a nifty web cam in the lid. It has built in Wifi which works well. It has 4 USB ports, although annoyingly these are on the side - I prefer them at the back (especially fr the mouse). It also... Read review

Lenovo Z61m
Review of Lenovo ThinkPad Z61m by  Leadenwinter

Advantages: Good for media work, WideScreen quality Graphics.
Disadvantages: Lenovo suck... totally.... This computer can only be used in air-conditioning.

...This is a relatively OK computer in terms of other laptops in its league and excels at multimedia work and could have been much much better. It is let down by various problems and annoyances largely the doing of Lenovo. Although it does have "character" you can get quite used to it. Firstly the removal of the sticker from the "stainless titanium" cover of the computer leaves unsightly stains deep set in the metal... The "award-winning" ThinkVantage "Lenovo-ware" which comes with the computer is needless, excruciatingly slow, infuriating and generally a total load of rot. In particular the ThinkVantage Access Connections is dreadful and starts eating up RAM and freezing the computer even if you just accidentally click on the icon in the taskbar. It is pointless trying to find a network using the ThinkVantage Access... Read review
