...I recently purchased the Navigon 2100 Max and I was very impressed overall with the performance and quality of the unit. The graphics are nice and easy to see and read and the voice is very nice too.
It correctly calculated my route from A to B and gave accurate times for arrival which was very helpful. You could select different modes depending upon what type of car you were driving (e.g standard, slow car, fast car) or even select pedestrian mode (possibly for use whilst walking around with the unit).
The map graphics are really good (and can even include speed limit signs depending on the road you are driving in). You can also select between day and night modes which is a nice feature.
Overall, I was very impressed with the unit and I thought it was definately worth the money!...

Advantages: Feature rich, easy to use, bluetooth to your phone for handsfree Disadvantages: Doesn't have the community features that TomTom has.
...I've had the Navigon 7110 for well over a year, and as my 1st Sat-Nav I have to say I've been extremely impressed.
I researched the market before buying, delving into forums, countless reviews and reached the conclusion that a TOMTOM = p*ss-poor. I found the Navigon and it was a breath of fresh air, it was the only sat nav that looked really really stylish (then).
The 7110 has europe maps, and the 7100 has UK and Ireland maps, there is a £30 price difference between them.
Not only did it look stylish, but it had features to match:

When your driving on a motorway it shows a 3d view of what lane you should be in (shown on the main image above..) - A bit gimmicky but remarkably handy when you decide to drive on english motorways (I'm from scotland and we only have 2 and a half motorways...

Advantages: Small Size, Good For Sport Disadvantages: Bad quality software
...The Philips Nike PSA 256 Max is brilliant in size and also if it does not drop it will not break so easily. It is very easy to use except from the software that is included to transfer your music to it. But you csn always use Windows Media Player too. The mr3 player is excellent for use if you may be jogging as i have used in my own case. The sound quality is good, it design is stylish, smooth and easy to use. But its value for money is very good. Also if you were using it just for listening to a small amount of songs or just need something to listen to while jogging, this will come in very useful. From my experience of having this about a year ago, i was very satisfied because it could hold the amount of songs that i needed which was about 80 songs and it was very useful for jogging too....
