I have had my new TX for about a week and a half now and I already feel like I couldn't live without it. The finger print scanner as an extra security feature is an excellent idea. The idea also that it can be used as a portable DVD player without switching it on is excellent when on a long train journey. But the main reason I decided to purchase a TX3 was because of the portability. I travel around a lot during the day and it means I can fit my laptop into my handbag with out it breaking my shoulder. I was a little worried about the size of the display before I purchased it, being too small but because the definition is so much clearer it is not a problem for me but I could see that it would be a problem with anybody with worse eyesight than myself especially if they were working on it for long periods of time. The only other downside of the new TX I would say is the occasional extra noise of the fan. You only really notice this when working in quiet areas and it doesn't really bother me anyway. The only other thing I would say is that it doesn't come packaged with a laptop case so I bought a slip cover separately but WARNING: you will not find a generic case to fit this tiny laptop so a Sony case will cost about another £45. but then if you can afford the TX what's another 45 quid!

this laptop is by far one of the best,also smart looking and lightweight. To be honest i have had a couple of laptops in the past but this is by far the best i have come across and will definately stick with for the forseable future.i have not encountered any problems with this product so far and would highly reccomend it to anyone who is currently looking into buying a laptop.
