...for Scott's Adobe Photoshop TV weekly podcast. Most of these should be considered inspiration for further research by the reader though as they don't contain much real meat. I thought this was a great little book. The content is pure gold for the beginner to middle ground photographer and there are nuggets here which will make even fairly experiences readers think 'Ah ha!' It's small, it's easy to read, has great content and is reasonably priced. As such I can't recommend it highly enough. Advantages: Full of useful info for the curry lover
Disadvantages: Flimsy, info not always 100% accurate

...restaurants but Bangladeshi, Thai, Nepalese and Malaysian restaurants, for example. It includes top end restaurants that would probably say they serve Indian cuisine rather than just "curry" but the real focus of the book is the traditional "curry house". The reason we love the "Good Curry Guide" so much is that it is written almost entirely by people like ourselves - curry enthusiasts who would go out of their way for a fix of good curry. The guide does not use professional paid critics but encourages readers to send in reports and even provides a template for reviews at the back of the book. It does not matter if the restaurant you wish to review is already listed, in fact it's probably better because multiple reports will better help the editorial team give the best representation of the restaurant in the book. Advantages: Engrossing, amazing, ingenious.
Disadvantages: Leaves you craving for more. A big series.

...Well the series so far is not complete; as many will know we wait hungrily for the 4th book “A Feast for Crows”. Many would wonder what makes Martins book so great to warrant a whole household to fight over the only copies in the house (well in my house anyway!). It is written in the most compelling detail, with characters you would love as your own friends and family and characters that are hateful, deceitful and absolutely vile that they either deserve your admiration for having that kind of ambition or your unimaginable loathing. With fantastical backdrop of Westeros, we are given the many powerful Houses (and few that aren’t) who are the players of the Game of Thrones where to lose is to lose everything.
